GAME SUPPER CLUB WITH THE KING’S GINGER

GAME SUPPER CLUB WITH THE KING’S GINGER

TUESDAY 15TH OF NOVEMBER AT KRICKET WHITE CITY

We are off on a shoot! Our Head Chefs at Kricket are heading to Norfolk for a 2 day shoot at The Fring Estate. We are keen to go to the source of where our meat comes from and learn more about seasonal and sustainable meat from the UK.

The Fring Estate has over 1500 acres of land with a mix of different game and birds, from wild duck to Chinese water deer. As amateurs in the field of shooting we are keen for our Head Chefs to learn more about the whole process of shooting / butchering and preparing a game feasting menu.

We will be bringing all the game back to London to create this hearty supper club for all to enjoy. The evening will feel truly autumnal, with rich and luxurious meats such as rabbit khad kargosh, fermented Kashmiri chilli butter sauce and Chinese water deer chitamee, fried onions and ginger alongside seasonal fruit & vegetables and wines on offer.

Our friends at The King’s Ginger are supporting this night from the shoot to the Supper club itself. We will be topped up with the warming drink during the long days out in Norfolk, and have also incorporated this wonderful spirit into our menu both as the welcome cocktail and as part of the pudding.

The King’s Ginger was created for King Edward VII, The King would endlessly drive his beloved Daimler, whatever the weather. In 1903 the Royal Physician became concerned about the monarch’s health. So, he called on Berry Bros. and Rudd for a solution, a high strength liqueur that would warm and revive His Majesty. Crafted from ginger, (for centuries celebrated for its medicinal properties) The King’s Ginger was born.

Tickets for this supper club are £65 per person and include The King’s Ginger special welcome cocktail. The King’s Ginger have also been kind enough to offer all attending a discount code so you can order some of their lovely spirits to enjoy at home… Just in time for Christmas.
